Music Research Award - Doctoral

DESCRIPTION
$1,000 award to a doctoral music student (or recent graduate) for a music research paper (e.g., doctoral dissertation) or project. Applicants can be in any field.

Rules:

  1. Papers and projects must not be more than five years old.
  2. No more than one paper or project in each class may be submitted by a contestant. 
  3. Abstracts, excerpts or summaries of the winning submissions may be published in The Triangle of Mu Phi Epsilon
  4. Any citations should be complete and in a style appropriate to the discipline. 

REQUIREMENTS
Required Materials Checklist:

  1. Current resume
  2. Statement of Mu Phi Epsilon participation
  3. Most recent unofficial college transcript
  4. PDF of the full paper or project materials
  5. Two current letters of recommendation
  6. $25 Application Fee

Please note that there will be no return of application fee for incomplete and disqualified applications.
