Musicological Research Award - Masters

DESCRIPTION
$750 award to a master’s level music student (or recent graduate) for a music research paper (e.g., master’s thesis) or research project. Applicants can be in any field.

Rules:

  1. Papers and projects must not be more than five years old.
  2. No more than one paper or project in each class may be submitted by a contestant. 
  3. Abstracts, excerpts or summaries of the winning submissions may be published in The Triangle of Mu Phi Epsilon
  4. Any citations should be complete and in a style appropriate to the discipline. 

REQUIREMENTS
Required Materials Checklist:

  1. Current resume
  2. Statement of Mu Phi Epsilon participation
  3. Most recent unofficial college transcript
  4. PDF of the full paper or project
  5. Two current letters of recommendation
  6.  $25 Application Fee

Please note that there will be no return of application fee for incomplete and disqualified applications.
